Our Story

Established and completely bootstrapped in New York City, Defoe & Co. is a WOC-owned jewelry label designed to add quality statement pieces to your daily outfits, helping you stay effortlessly chic while caring for the environment. Our jewelry pieces are handmade to reduce environmental impact, with mostly recycled metals. The paper packaging we use are also 100% compostable.

Defoe & Co. is founded with an appreciation towards the history of fashion, people we love, symbols, and art behind its concept and values. The first statement snake ring created by the owner was inspired in February 2020, while her sister was working as a front line doctor for COVID19, and she wanted a ring design that symbolized healing and health as a gift to her sister. All our products with human names are named after the people who inspired the design.
